Baxter is a pure breed Basset, weighing approximately 40 pounds, and is about a year and a half old. He is a real charmer and loves to give lots of kisses when he greets you.

He gets along great with other dogs, big or small and plays endlessly with them. He loves riding in the car, long walks and especially loves play time with 'squeaky' toys. A large fenced yard would work best, however an invisible fence would work if given a lot of dedicated patience to his learning.

Baxter is currently enrolled in the RPSM Canine Correctional Program at the Coldwater Prison Complex. He is learning all his basic obedience commands , his manners, he is being socialized with other dogs and people, and is house broke . Baxter will be finished with his training in February . At that time, he will be ready to go to a loving forever home .

All our dogs are completely vetted , spayed/neutered , and microchipped plus have received 3 months of training.

Baxter’s adoption fee is $200.00.
